Hi all.

Does the pre-nerfed item still exist? I know you can't get it from the collector with the weird mod anymore, just wondered if they ALL got changed with the nerf.

Yes, they were all changed.

Guild Wars was built on fair play, and if only a handful of players had the old mod and no one else could obtain it, it would be a broken promise.

Plus if you read the update itself, even if the wording is a bit vague, they meant that they updated all items, since enchanting mods are not supposed to be on foci.

Must have been bad for the people who actually paid that much to buy one, only to have it changed so that it was no longer worth much.

although... according to the wiki page the collector used to give them out? then how come

They were worth so much? Couldn't anyone have gotten 4 skulls and exchanged them for one of these?

Sucks that the ones that were already in inventories were changed... I doubt anyone who played during that era would still be playing today (cept for me) and anyways they should have left it for it's uniqueness. Then the only known way to be able to get that last pinch of longer enchantments would be well known simple farm in ascalon. I like little things that make games unique and prophecies is that game.

What about that old cities quest in Ascalon that gives the -50 HP cesta?

shame they all changed, i like wierd/nerfed items, and that one would have been actually useful!

I only really asked because some nerfed items haven't all been changed, but i suppose that's because they're not so OP/Unbalanced.

No... the seller just wanted that much. The real offers just went a little above 100k if I remember correctly.

that is still there and obtainable as far as i know

You still can get it, But in early 2005 that cesta used be Req healing, those were nerfed and changed to Blood magic, The heal req ones are still in the game, but extreamly rare
